DRAGO VS. AEROSTAR

Vampiro and Matt Striker are in the booth for this match. Drago gets the teleportation entrance for this match. Aerostar makes his way down to the ring, his gear seems to be paying homage to the white Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger.

MATCH 3: DRAGO VS. AEROSTAR (Match #1 in Best of 5 Series)

To move on, they lock up at the bell then push off. Drago ducks a second collar-elbow tie-up, getting behind Aerostar then moving into a wristlock, Aerostar breaks it, ducks a striker and takes Drago over with a hurricanrana. Drago hits a dropkick to the knee to cut Aerostar down. Aerostar is sent into the corner and avoids a charge, Drago is dropped with an enziguri, Aerostar springs off the middle rope on the outside and over for a double-foot stomp. Aerostar covers but Drago kicks out at 2. Drago slides on his knees to stop himself going into the corner. A drop toe hold sends Aerostar into the middle turnbuckle, then Drago jumps from the second rope with a codebreaker for 2. Drago charges when they get to their feet, getting sent over to the apron. Aerostar shoulder barges him in the gut and hits a 619 to Drago's back. Drago drops to the floor as Aerostar flips back into the ring, rolling through to keep his speed, Aerostar uses the inside of the middle rope to hits a plancha over the top to Drago! Vampiro mocks Matt Striker's Harry Potter references as Aerostar covers and Drago kicks out at 1.

Drago kicks away at Aerostar's legs, he catches a right hand by Aerostar and lifts him in a hammerlock into a facebuster. Drago covers for 2. Aerostar reverses an irish whip, barely leapfrogging Drago, Drago dropkicks Aerostar as he tries to monkey flip Drago over, Drago tries to catch Aerostar before he rolls out of the ring but just misses him. Drago hits a running corkscrew plancha so Vampiro can put over his Lucha Libre connections again, this time with Hector Garza. Drago gets Aerostar back in the ring but Aerostar kicks out of the cover at 2. Drago sends Aerostar across the ring but gets caught with a handspring back elbow, Aerostar rolls Drago up for 2. Aerostar runs the ropes into kicks by Drago, Drago hits a running flip DDT for the win.

WINNER: DRAGO

Matt Striker described the match as “being in a sports car at 55 mph, you want to put your foot down but you're wary. That was exactly how this match felt. They didn't want to do too much but still wanted people to get their money' worth. That describes this perfectly. They did enough to keep me entertained but I want and look forward to more from each of them. WORKRATE: 2.25/5 PERSONAL ENJOYMENT 2/5 OVERALL: 4.25/10

Drago brings his opponent to his feet, shaking his hand. Aerostar raises his opponent's hand in victory, ending this part on a good show of sportsmanship. Matt Striker hypes tonight's main event between Johnny Mundo and Cage as we go to a commercial break.
