MATCH 3: SYLVESTER LEFORT VS. ENZO AMORE (HIAR VS HAIR)
Sylvester is a part of the Legionnaires with Marcus Luis who accompanies him to ringside. Enzo Amore is a team with “Big Cass” Collin Cassady. Before Enzo enters we see him and Cass is some sort of beauty salon filmed on Cass' phone, a worker talks to Enzo about getting a wax, and Enzo chases him out of the room, saying it could have been one of those Worldstar Beat downs. Cass and Enzo argue about who should use the hair removal cream (for some reason they have a bucket full) and it lands on the poodle which immediately begins to malt. Enzo and Cass just continuously apologise to Carmella. Pretty funny, harmless segment. Big Cass is holding the bucket (presumably refilled) on his way to the ring. Enzo does his shtick on the ramp, crowd were pretty cold for it till the end. Enzo enters the ring and says tonight he's gonna punch Sylvester LeFort in the mouth, then give him a hair cut. He goes through different haircuts he might give him.
Entranceway promos are a good way of getting a crowd hot for a match, I'm surprised they're not used more. We finally begin with a collar-elbow tie up in the ring. LeFort gets a headlock but Amore shoves him off. LeFort gets the shoulder block, and covers but Enzo kicks out before one. Leading to a standoff. LeFort mimics shaving Amore's head, and Amore quickly gets a go-behind. Amore shifting to a side headlock, LeFort tries to shove him off the ropes but Amore drops to one knee. LeFort grabs Amore's hair so he releases the headlock and grabs one of his own. Amore pushes LeFort off and gets a drop toehold. Amore walks all over LeFort and ruffles his hair, mocking him. LeFort gets to his feet and charges, but gets caught in a roll up! 1, 2, No!
They circle the ring and LeFort confers with Marcus Luis. LeFort beats Amore down, LeFort brings Amore back to his feet and sends him across the ring. Amore ducks a clothesline, and again the other way, Amore slides under LeFort legs and gets a dropkick, sending LeFort to the apron. Amore tries to save himself time and rip LeFort's hair out, bringing him to his feet, and hiptosses him over the top rope into the ring. LeFort escapes out the other side as the referee warns Enzo about hair pulling. Enzo says OK and then picks LeFort up by his sideburns, but LeFort stun guns him off the top rope. LeFort gets back in the ring and puts the boots to Amore until the referee backs him off. LeFort picks Enzo up and scoop slams him. LeFort covers but only gets one.
LeFort quickly grabs a chinlock, but the crowd helps Enzo to his feet. He elbows himself free from LeFort but LeFort gets a clubbing blow. LeFort sends Enzo across the ring, but Enzo gets a knee lift. Enzo down on the mat, and LeFort's out on his feet. Enzo crawls to the corner and tries to stand and he gets to his feet just in time for LeFort to hit him with a running knee to the gut. Enzo falls out of the corner and LeFort hits a Penalty Kick to Enzo's kidneys. Enzo uses LeFort to get back to his feet, and LeFort hits him with a forearm. LeFort mocks the crowd before bringing Enzo back to his feet. Enzo blocks the strike and gets a punch to LeFort's ribs, second connects and Enzo gets a series of jabs. Marcus Luis gets on the apron, and Enzo takes the bait, turning around into a hard clothesline by LeFort Enzo somehow kicks out at 2. The camera decides to cut to the potion, and Marcus Luis gets back on the apron to talk to LeFort, Cass brings him down to the floor by his ankle, and knocks him down. Enzo Amore rolls up LeFort in the ring, 1,2,3! LeFort needs to get his head shaved, which the fans take great pleasure in chanting at him.
WINNER: ENZO AMORE
This was a basic singles match between tag team wrestlers, nothing special. The idea of them both caring about their hair so much added a bit of emotion and urgency to the match, but Enzo's charisma seems better than his in ring work rate at the moment. I'll rate it 3.5/10
