Before the match, Undertaker arrives at the building, he asks a member of staff if he’s seen Kurt Angle. Amazingly he’s just around the corner. Even more amazingly ‘Taker gives chase on his bike through the arena.
Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler are on
commentary for this match. Tazz enters first, he recently returned and started attacking
anyone he felt like. Al Snow makes his way out, looking more serious than
usual.
TAZZ VS. AL SNOW
WWF Fully Loaded 2000 (23rd July 2000)
The
bell rings as Al Snow ducks a right hand and connects with a combination
of his own. Tazz is sent off the ropes into a back elbow, Snow stomps at Tazz
before celebrating. Tazz reverses an irish whip but ducks too early, taking a
Russian legsweep before bailing to the floor.
Al Snow continues the attack at ringside and sends Tazz back into the ring, but Tazz kicks Snow as he gets to his feet. They exchange right hands, Tazz rakes Snow’s eyes to get the advantage and sends him to the mat. Al Snow elbows out of a suplex attempt, he’s sent into the corner, but slides on his knees to stop the momentum. Al Snow ducks a right hand and knocks Tazz down with a superkick. Al Snow gets a nearfall with a sitout slam and sends Tazz into the top turnbuckle, Al Snow lays in boots and chokes Tazz. Tazz sends Al Snow into the corner, Al Snow tries to float over but gets caught and Tazz slams him to the mat. Tazz lays in more boots before ripping at Al Snow’s mouth on the mat. Tazz tries to send Al Snow into the corner again but Al Snow stops the momentum and catches Tazz with a right hand. Al Snow hits the slam and goes to the top rope, he hits a legdrop and goes back for a moonsault. 1, 2, no! Al Snow grabs Head as the fans chant “boring” (or it sounds like it to me) and Tazz cuts off the momentum with a chop block. Tazz unloads with right hands and kicks to Al Snow’s knee as JR hypes the triple main event. Tazz connects with crossface strikes. Al Snow is sent off the ropes into a drop toehold and he blocks Tazz’s strikes, headbutting him in the chest.
Al Snow kicks Tazz but the third one is caught, Tazz suplexes Al Snow over and tries to put on the Tazzmission, Al Snow counters, throwing Tazz over his shoulder. Tazz puts it back on and Al Snow tries to fight it on the way down, he finally taps out.
WINNER: TAZZ
This was a good match for the short time. Tazz could have
looked a bit stronger in the match, but it’s a small gripe, it just shows how
far he’d fallen since his debut. (Here)[*] 2.75/10
