HARDCORE HOLLY VS. TAJIRI

 Tajiri makes his way out first, and we see the destruction at ringside thanks to Triple H’s opening segment. Cole hypes the brackets for the tournament being revealed for the quarter-finals. Hardcore Holly makes his way out as Cole goes through the 7 men that have already qualified.

Michael Cole and Tazz are on commentary for this match. Theodore Long is the referee for this match.

HARDCORE HOLLY VS. TAJIRI (King of the Ring qualifier)

  They lock up as Tazz chooses Hardcore Holly to win the whole thing, Cole picks Chris Jericho. Tajiri gets a headlock, he’s sent off the ropes but knocks Holly down with a shoulder tackle. Tajiri runs into a back elbow and Hardcore Holly lays in chops in the corner.

  Tajiri is sent across the ring but he floats over, Tajiri ducks the right hand, connecting with a kick. Tajiri attacks Hardcore Holly on the ground, having to break it up after a blatant choke. Tajiri sends Hardcore Holly’s head into the top turnbuckle, he climbs in the corner but Hardcore Holly shoves him away. Hardcore Holly runs into a drop toehold and eats a dropkick. Holly fights to his feet but runs into a spinning heel kick giving Tajiri a nearfall. Tajiri backs Hardcore Holly into the corner and chops, but Holly shows him how it’s done. Tajiri is sent across the ring but he floats over again, this time going to the apron, he kicks Hardcore Holly over the top rope and climbs the corner, but Hardcore Holly rolls out of the way of the diving attack. Hardcore Holly flattens Tajiri with clotheslines and sends him off the ropes into a dropkick fot a nearfall. HardcoreHolly ducks a kick and slams Tajiri for another. Hardcore Holly takes some time and slaps Tajiri. Tajiri gets out of the Alabama Slam attempt.
